The school gardening clubs in the rural community of Del Norte County & Tribal lands need appropriate gear for their school gardens and food forests.
Aprons, gloves, tools, etc…

The garden explorers club is providing elementary school kids with outdoor hands-on learning experiences. They get to learn about land stewardship, collaboration, community building, and sustainable food cultivation.

This program is operated under the jurisdiction of the community food council of DNATL, which is part of The Family Resource Center of the Redwoods — a 501c3 nonprofit.
Funding from building healthy communities paid for a school gardens coordinator, but we still need help to get the physical supplies the kids will need for this program.
